Zeta x Elmott

(Making up good titles keeps getting harder and harder)

So uh first of all, this was supposed to be a throwaway sketch, then I kinda liked how it looked and ended up coloring it...
I used this pic as practice, or better said, to relearn coloring and try new things.

I've always been doubting my art in general, especially my coloring, and could never decide on a shading style that I wanted to practice. I've always leaned towards celshading, though I kept hearing how that's a lazy coloring style, that it's too easy and everyone could do it... So since I didn't want to seem lazy, I tried myself with soft painting. Maybe it would've been good too, but.. it just wasn't me. So finally I decided to let it all go and just relearn celshading again.

Probably I'll still get a lot of negative criticism, but that's fine. I understand not everyone will like what I do, and I don't care if others will try to force me to draw in a different style which they like more. I'm going to draw for people who like my art, instead of trying to please people who don't. And mostly, I'll keep drawing for my own fun.

With this pic, I had a great fun! It's still not perfect, I'm still not where I aim to be, but it's one step closer to what I actually enjoy doing. I forgot a lot, I have a lot to learn/relearn, but hope I can do it. I'm really nervous, ahaha-

Anyway... This is Zeta and Elmott from the game Granblue Fantasy, this is my guilty pleasure and one of my ships of many (including SieSorn, Beastace and many others). I don't think they actually interacted in any events (or not in the ones I could participate in ever since I play), but I didn't give up my hopes yet...! I don't know if there's anyone beside me who ships them, but you're welcome to join me this ship is a very lonely place and I need company ahaha OTL

So yes I'm gonna keep shipping them until Cygames makes an event where they actually interact.... .... ... Maybe in Zeta's 5* fate or in the 18th SR version of Elmott.... that's too much optimism
